Our product designs are so flexible that they can be adapted to suit most situations. The canopies are available in two basic structural forms, which can be installed by our professional installers or supplied in kit form ready to install.
Framed Structures.
Supplied as squares, rectangles or hexagons. They have roof frames in addition to the supporting posts, which are either in-ground (in concrete footings) or surface mounted on base plates. The fabric is tensioned by steel cable running through the hem.
Shade Sails.
Normally these are supplied as squares or rectangles, but can fabricated in any shape to get around obstructions. These do not have roof frames and are attached to the columns at different heights to give an aesthetically pleasing effect. They can also be attached to a building with a sail track on one side and posts on the other side. The fabric is also tensioned by a cable in the hem.
All Austin Custom Shades are designed and fabricated to create an exact fit for the covered area.
